Immanuel Church (Englewood) (Chicago, Ill)
Established in 1902 as a Swedish Episcopal Church in Englewood, ended in 1917. Later reopened with Holy Cross.
Iglesia Santa Teresa de Avila (Chicago, Ill)
Begun as a Hispanic fellowship in the 1980's, it was received as a Mission in the Diocese of Chicago in 1994. In 1995, Fr Alvaro Araica was appointed Vicar for Santa Teresa while also serving as Vicar of Cristo Rey Episcopal Church. In December 1999, the mission moved to share facilities with Saint Elizabeth's Church. The two congregations continue to share in a joint ministry until 2009 when Saint Elizabeth's Church ceased to exist.
Iglesia San Jose (Blue Island, Ill)
Mission of Saint Joseph's and Saint Aidan's Church located in Blue Island, Illinois. The mission seems to have ended in 1992 when the majority of the members moved to the local Catholic Church.
Iglesia Episcopal San Pedro (Chicago, Ill)
Begun as a Hispanic ministry at Saint Peter's Church (Chicago, Ill), it was established as an official mission church in 1986. In 1996, the mission moved to Franklin Park, Illinois and changed its name to Iglesia del Espirito Santa. When it outgrew its space in Franklin Park, the mission moved to Maywood, Illinois and ultimately closed in 2006.
Iglesia Episcopal San Felipe (Palatine, Ill)
Created in 1990 by the Hispanic Ministry Services of the Elgin Deanery and located in the Saint Philip's Church, Palatine, Illinois, it failed as an independent mission and closed in 1996.
Iglesia del Espiritu Santo (Maywood, Ill)
Originally established in 1986 in Chicago as a mission under the name Iglesia Episcopal de San Pedro, it moved in 1997 to Franklin Park and changed its name to Iglesia del Espiritu Santo. Once it outgrew its space in Franklin Park, it moved to Maywood, Illinois in 2004 and finally closed its doors in 2006.
