After irregular services in rented space from 1838-1850, Saint John's was formally established in 1850 with the construction of its own building. The church still exists.

Founded in 1869. In 2013, when the Diocese of Quincy closed, Saint John's Episcopal Church of Preemption, Illinois voted to leave the Episcopal Church and join the Anglican Church of North America.
Saint John's Episcopal Church (Quincy, Ill)
Founded in 1837, Saint John's was a parish church until 1887, when it was dedicated as the Cathedral Church for the Diocese of Quincy. In 1962, Saint John's agreed to give up the Cathedral designation and returned to being a parish church. Then in 2013, when the Diocese of Quincy was closed, Saint John's Church decided to leave the Episcopal Church to join the Anglican Church of North America.

St. Jude's was started as a mission in 1963, dedicated in 1969 and consecrated in 1970. The church was loosely associated historically with St. Stephens Episcopal Church (670.143) a previous Episcopal presence in Rochelle, Ill (1907-1917). St. Jude's closed in 2008.
