Saint Cyprian's Church (Chicago, Ill)

Founded originally in 1934 as a mission of Saint Stephen's Church, called Church of Our Father, it changed its name in 1945 to Saint Cyprian's Church. It closed its doors in 2001.

Saint John's Church, Clybourn (Chicago, Ill)

Originally started as a mission of the Church of the Ascension in 1877, called Mission of Saint John the Evangelist, it became a mission of Saint James Episcopal Church (Chicago, Ill) in 1891. It then transitioned to an Italian mission in 1913 and closed permanently in 1922.

Saint Mark's Church (Chicago, Ill)

Originating as a small building built by Civil War prisoners of war for religious services in 1864, Saint Mark's Church was built in 1866, after the prisoner of war camp was closed and all buildings sold. It opened for services in 1867 and continued until 1918, when it merged with Saint Alban's Church and the Church of the Transfiguration, retaining the name, Saint Mark's Church. In 1959, the Church closed its doors.

Christ Church (Harlem) (River Forest, Ill)

"Christ Church" as a meeting place of Epsicopalians started in Oak Park (Harlem) in 1867 and was accepted into the Diocese of Chicago the following year. In 1882, for a variety of reasons, the congregation decided moved a few blocks away and started Grace Church as a mission. They worshipped there until 1923 when Christ Church (River Forest) reopened as a mission of Grace Church, Oak Park. Christ Church continues today.
