Started in 1838, building consecrated in 1872 and then destroyed by a fire in 1935. Reconstructed in time for centenial celebration in 1938 and the church continues to this day.

Saint Paul's became a mission parish in 1948 and a parish in 1955. In 1993 it joined with three other parishes as part of the consortium of churches known as the LaSalle County Episcopal Ministry.
Saint Paul's Episcopal Church (McHenry, Ill)
This parish began as a mission in 1956, the first building was dedicated in 1958. They became a perish in 1983. Sold their building in 2020 and share worship space with First United methodist Church in McHenry. The parish continues to this day.

From 1852-1853, informal services were held in parishioner's houses. In 1853, a mission was organized and a building was built, In 1857, the mission was formally recognized as a parish. After more than 100 years, the parish closed in 1960 or 1961.
