Saint John's Episcopal Church (Quincy, Ill)
Founded in 1837, Saint John's was a parish church until 1887, when it was dedicated as the Cathedral Church for the Diocese of Quincy. In 1962, Saint John's agreed to give up the Cathedral designation and returned to being a parish church. Then in 2013, when the Diocese of Quincy was closed, Saint John's Church decided to leave the Episcopal Church to join the Anglican Church of North America.
