Organized in 1955, the mission was formally recognized in October 1956. The church building was purchased in 1956 from a local Baptist church and extensively remodeled over the following years. From 1994-1998, the church was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Ministry cluster. The mission closed in 2007.

Founded in 1934 as an unorganized mission of Saint Stephen's Church, it changed its name to Saint Cyprian's Church in 1945 when it became an organized mission of the Chicago Diocese.
Church of Our Saviour (Chicago, Ill)
Founded in 1867 as Chapel of Our Saviour at the corner of Belden Avenue and Harlbut (now Cleveland) Avenue in a former barn on the property of R. D. Van Wagenen. First service conducted on Easter Day, April 21, 1867. Church moved to its current location on Fullerton Parkway in 1889.
