Services began in 1878, although the first church building was not built until 1889. The original mission became a church on February 2, 1902. A new church building was built, dedicated in 1930 and provided a worshipful church and a large gathering hall. The church closed in 2007.

Formed in 1899, its first church was created out of an old barn. From there, the church has created a succession of church buildings, leading to its current location in the Beverly community.

Saint Paul's Episcopal Church (DeKalb, Ill)

Originally organized as a mission in 1889, the church achieved parish status in 1983. It serves not only the residents of DeKalb, but also the students of Northern Illinois University. The first church was built in 1877, and when it was outgrown, it was converted to a parish house and the present church was built in 1909.

All Saints Episcopal Church was formed in February 2009, at the initiative of a group of laypersons from Christ Church, Moline and Trinity Parish, Rock Island following the secession by members of the Diocese of Quincy in November 2008. Became a mission of the Diocese of Quincy in 2011 and then of the Peoria Deanery of the Diocese of Chicago when the Diocese of Quincy ceased to exist.

Saint Elizabeth's Guild (Christ Episcopal Church, Streator, Ill)

Began as group of mothers of young children who wanted to support each other. After the original group of children grew older, the women struggled to maintain their membership and attract new members. Whether they continued past 2003 is not clear.
