Started in the chapel of Christ Church, Waukegan under the name of Iglesia de Christo. As it outgrew the space and meeting time contraints, it changed its name to Nuestra and began to grow, partnering with Church of the Holy Spirit (Lake Forest, Ill) to build its own church in Waukegan.
